The storyline concerns Koga's gang of thieves plotting to steal a priceless diamond from a master criminal, but Ishii plays the film for gross laughs as Koga puts dandruff and mucus in someone's drink, urinates to douse a fire, and breaks wind in his friend's face. Tetsuro Tanba, Mitsuru Sato, and Yutaka Nakajima co-star in this silly romp which -- although Chiba gets to rip out a man's heart at one point -- is unlikely to satisfy all but the youngest action fans. Shihomi Etsuko plays a race car driver who also lends out her services to the Japanese Secret Service. Although there really isn't much of a "chase" to be seen, Shihomi does pursue a cartel of drug runners and assorted Japanese yakuza types.

During his travels, Tora-san comes across a traditional theater he used to visit, and discovers that one of his old friends has died. Tora-san and his family help the friend's daughter, who becomes romantically involved with an aspiring artist.

The third installment of "Sister Street Fighter" is hardly surprising at first sight. Koryu (Etsuko Shihomi) comes to Yokohama to bring a young girl to her mother and soon gets to fight lots of gangsters. Of course they use the child as a hostage, or rather a bait to get hold of Koryu. Of course they believe Koryu defeated, but then she returns alive and kicking. (imdb)

A sequel in name only, an oddball but entertaining action yarn mixing tongue-in-cheek humor with high melodrama. This time Shihomi is Kiku Nakagawa, the daughter of a wealthy, upwardly mobile kimono shop family in Kyoto. Though her ambitious, upwardly mobile mother wants to train Kiku in delicate arts like flower arrangement and marry her off to a wealthy family, she's much more interested in karate. (dvdtalk.com)
