|76 T7||Meshes of the Afternoon (1943) - Mar 20, 2018
"It resembles some of the most sinister nightmares one might experience because of the breakdown of logic, causation and time."
|88 T10||Badlands (1973) - Mar 20, 2018
"Every shot in the film captures the sense of wonder and the film seems to be as much about the magic of American landscape as it is about the aloofness of the runaway couple. The loneliness of both Holly and Kit are palpable. We don't have any reaction to the killings or to the killers because it feels like they do not realize what it means just like an innocent child. The film is filled with little details that make the film captivating."

|75 T7||Inside Llewyn Davis (2013) - Mar 16, 2018
"Not my favorite Coen brothers film. Didn't feel like it brought anything new to the struggling artist story. It avoids conventional copouts but that is not enough to make a great film. Had a nice comic touch but never really threw any punches. I couldn't care less for Davis. People who have seen a Llewyn Davis in their life typically try to forget the narcissistic assholes and however much the film try I couldn't muster any sympathy or any interest in his future."
