The Idea of You (2024) - Rated 15 Sep 2026
Reminiscent of Notting Hill and a bit predictable, but still somewhat enjoyable watch. It didn't blow me away, but it was a decent.

Impractical Jokers (2011) - Rated 29 Aug 2026
Good comfort show when you aren't in the mood for anything else.

Chernobyl (2019) - Rated 29 Aug 2026
I don’t really have anything bad to say about it. It feels almost like a horror series and can genuinely leave you disturbed and thinking about it afterwards. They did an extraordinary job recreating the atmosphere of the disaster, the Soviet lifestyle, and the overall feeling of the time. I really enjoyed it and I think it is a must-watch.

Erin Brockovich (2000) - Rated 29 Aug 2026
I liked that it was based on a true story, which made some parts feel almost like a horror movie knowing that these events actually happened. The acting was great, and I liked the atmosphere. It also made me want to research the real-life events afterwards. Overall, I enjoyed it and found it memorable, but at the same time I wouldn’t say the movie was anything extraordinary.

Good Will Hunting (1997) - Rated 29 Aug 2026
Okay. I expected much more considering its ratings, reputation, and overall impact. The story felt a bit strange to me, and the movie ended up being fairly underwhelming. I didn’t dislike it but I also didn’t find it particularly special or memorable.

The Girl Next Door (2004) - Rated 29 Aug 2026
This movie left me with a strange, bittersweet feeling almost like a sense of loneliness or of having missed something in life. I wanted to see more from these characters, and afterwards I kept looking for similar movies, but nothing really came close. Elisha Cuthbert was magnificent, and the 2000s atmosphere is a huge part of the charm, from the outfits and soundtrack to the overall vibe. I did enjoyed this one.

Interstellar (2014) - Rated 29 Aug 2026
As someone who loves space and astronomy, this is one of my favorite movies of all time. It resonated deeply with me and I still find myself thinking about it years later. The story, acting, characters, soundtrack, atmosphere... I especially loved how it explored the time mechanics. An unforgettable experience (sadly).

The O.C. (2003) - Rated 29 Aug 2026
Iconic and legendary. The first three seasons are top-notch, with great writing and characters that hook you from the pilot. It may be a teen drama, but it has plenty of adult themes and is easy to enjoy at any age. The 2000s atmosphere, outfits, soundtrack, and overall vibe are a huge part of its charm. Even the theme song gives me strong nostalgia. I’m rating it slightly lower because the final season became more goofy, with a few plots that felt a bit ridiculous.

One Tree Hill (2003) - Rated 29 Aug 2026
I gave it a fair chance and watched quite a few episodes from the beginning, but it just never managed to hook or entertain me. Some situations also felt a bit cringe or too much like “yeah, right.” I usually enjoy 2000s shows, including teen dramas, but I just couldn’t connect with this one. Maybe it gets better in later seasons, but the start wasn’t enough to keep me watching.

Gladiator (2000) - Rated 28 Aug 2026
Maybe waiting decades to finally watch it didn’t do me any favors. After hearing for so long how great it was and what a classic it had become, my expectations were probably too high. It wasn’t a bad movie, but it just didn’t move or affect me that much. Overall, it felt fairly predictable and not quite as special as I expected.
