Predator: Badlands (2025) - Rated 21 Feb 2026
Fun, but adds little to the lore and make Predators a comedic relief, giving the Disney treatment to what I got as a more serious saga.

Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl (2003) - Rated 21 Feb 2026
Fun, kid friendly, started a saga with a fresh take on the pirate lore.

Inception (2010) - Rated 21 Feb 2026
Great movie, score, story, execution, cast. Quintessential Nolan with bigger budget.

The French Dispatch (2021) - Rated 21 Feb 2026
Pleasurable Wes Anderson movie. Seemingly disconnected stories.

Interstellar (2014) - Rated 21 Feb 2026
Great movie from Nolan. Keeps the pace despite the length. Plot is complex but not overtly convoluted, great soundtrack and rewatchable.

Venom: Let There Be Carnage (2021) - Rated 21 Feb 2026
Sequel to an interesting gritty take on the super/anti-hero movie. Doesn't add much to the first movie with a not so interesting plot.

The Secret Life of Walter Mitty (2013) - Rated 21 Feb 2026
I loved the relationship between him daydreaming and reality. It's a deeply interesting movie challenging you to explore to get in touch with your true self.

Severance - Season 1 (2022) - Rated 21 Feb 2026
Interesting premise, amazing set design and a slowly revealing mystery. Maybe revealing too little and banking on stretching tension, but still recommended.

Midnight in Paris (2011) - Rated 21 Feb 2026
One of my favorite movie. Builds on a troubled man and makes you rethink your relationship to reality and you dreams, with nostalgia and a fun twist.

Now You See Me: Now You Don't (2025) - Rated 21 Feb 2026
Completely unnecessary sequel, the attempt to world building is moot. The magicians are actually making magic even if there's some pretense. A relatively boring action movie. Even on an airplane I'd check something else.
