The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (2011) - Rated 08 May 2016
Haven't seen the original trilogy but this one proved to be quite educational for me at the time it was released.

Alois Nebel (2011) - Rated 29 Dec 2011
Engaging and impressive most of the time. It has a few bleak moments but overall a very refreshing aproach when it comes to Czech cinema.

In Time (2011) - Rated 15 Dec 2011
The film could have been better with a more 80's vibe aproach. Cillian Murphy is a very classy villain nonetheles.

A Dangerous Method (2011) - Rated 21 Nov 2011
Not one of Cronenberg's finest but decent enough to check this one out. Surprisngly mild and thoughtfull erotic sequences.

Colombiana (2011) - Rated 27 Sep 2011
Flashy, plot & character free flick that you've seen multiple times before. It has a few finer moments but you can pass this one without further worries of missing something important. A generic rip-off but it always can be worse. PG-13 doesn't suit this one very well.

Drive (2011) - Rated 27 Sep 2011
A great mixture of classic hollywood heist picture with a brief touch of european art-house atmosphere. I especially admired the score by Cliff Martinez as well as tracks from my electronic darlings Kavinsky & co. Superb stuff.

The Three Musketeers (2011) - Rated 15 Sep 2011
It starts out in promising fashion but i was bored to death after the first half hour of this mess.

Horrible Bosses (2011) - Rated 15 Sep 2011
A bit overplayed at times but enjoyable nevertheless.

Gympl (2007) - Rated 15 May 2011
A bit silly but it captures the life of the Prag youth surprisingly well. Ji?í Mádl shows some serious talent even though i feel a bit embarrased to proclaim that.

Thor (2011) - Rated 15 May 2011
It has its moments but overall it felt like a neverending Black Eyed Peas music video.
