"Perhaps the safest of the modern Bonds. It never reaches the depths of Spectre, nor does it ever touch the heights of Casino or Skyfall. From start to finish, it's just fine. At almost 3 hours, I can comfortably say I'll never watch this film again. Even if I didn't hate my time with it."

"Very wholesome, very funny, and very dumb. Its clear they've finally worked out how to make the tone of a more lighthearted Superman film work, which I appreciate. Even if the writing doesn't always trust it's audience enough, and the final villain twist copies the laziest trends of past superhero films."

"For how derivative it feels, it's baffling how this film never copies a single one of its predecessor's strengths. Its flaws, on the other hand, have all made perplexing returns. Even where it should excel, like in it's visuals, we're left with an image so dark we can barely make it out; surrounding characters we couldn't even start to care about. To call this film a mess would be to suggest that there was something here to mess up in the first place."
