Batman Begins (2005) - Rated 13 Aug 2007
Batman portrayed as he should be... as the Black Knight. Christian Bale does a wonderful job playing the split character of Batman and billionaire playboy Bruce Wayne. Wonderful collection of supporting actors give the movie an excellent "feel", and Liam shines as the diabolical Ra's.

Taking Lives (2004) - Rated 13 Aug 2007
Predictable and cliche. Some twists, yet not enough to through the viewer off the scent of this typical "thriller" offering from Hollywood. Overall there wasn't much "thrill" to it.

Sin City (2005) - Rated 13 Aug 2007
Visually stunning, complete with *bad* cops, sexy ladies, and the ultimately lovable Marv expertly brought to life by Mickey Rouke. It is *sinfully* good.

Saved! (2004) - Rated 13 Aug 2007
I laughed until I cried while watching this movie. Funny look at "peer pressure" from the holier-than-thou types that seem to abound. Culkin shines as the disabled brother of the mean "Miss Christian". (Sad to say, I knew girls just like her in school, and went to church with more than a few of them).

My Life Without Me (2003) - Rated 13 Aug 2007
Sweet and sad view of how one young woman chooses to deal with the news she is dying.

The Matrix (1999) - Rated 13 Aug 2007
The movie that not only raised the bar in movie f/x, but was deeper than most "McAmericans" can honestly handle. The philosophy is deep and engaging, spawned numerous discussions across the internet, and tempted viewers with the question of "how deep the rabbit hole goes"... I'm still not sure how deep that is, but I haven't yet hit the bottom. Should definately be viewed back to back with parts 2 and 3 to be fully enjoyed.
