Watchmen (2009) - Rated 14 Jan 2026

While the film as a whole is outstanding, Rorschach's character was absolutely captivating.

Taxi Driver (1976) - Rated 13 Jan 2026

While dispatched to suppress large-scale protests, I experienced the lethal chaos of steel pipes and Molotov cocktails. Brutal violence exists even behind righteous shouts; knowing this, can one even conceive of the harrowing reality Travis faced after the war? A masterpiece depicting the most naked and excruciating depths of society.

The Hunt (2012) - Rated 14 Jan 2026

The fact that the societal contradictions addressed in this 2012 film remain unresolved to this day evokes a profound sense of bitterness.

Saving Private Ryan (1998) - Rated 15 Jan 2026

A nearly perfect war film in every aspect—message, realism, direction, pacing, and characters. An absolute masterpiece

The Last of the Mohicans (1992) - Rated 15 Jan 2026

Knowing the plot from the book, I focused on the direction, cinematography, and characters. Rather than being a strictly faithful adaptation, it follows the same narrative flow, making its unique artistic merit hard to judge. However, the directing, visuals, and music were very satisfying.

Mad Max (1979) - Rated 18 Jan 2026

The start of a meaningful series that has influenced many other movies.
