"I adored almost every shot in this movie. I’m pursuing cinematography as my career, so I can definitely recognize good visual storytelling, which this film definitely has. It’s incredibly well-thought out and poetic, but at the end of the day, the story itself doesn’t match the quality of everything else. If you kept everything the same, but rewrote the plot and characters a little, then it would be a masterpiece. Currently it relies too much on associations that most audiences don’t have."
