American Pie (1999) - Rated 28 Aug 2010
"American Pie is a refreshing slice of good humor in a low budget decade. The combination of Jim, Oz, Finch, and Kevin really remind me of my group of friends in high school. This movie is a rewind back to high school. Even though some of the scenes may be a little exaggerated, American Pie describes what highschool is in a nutshell. With some clever one liners and funny/awkward scenes, it captures the essence of high school in its entirety."
Norbit (2007) - Rated 28 Aug 2010
"Funny at times doesn't cut it nowadays. Consisting of lowblow humor and a plot that my six year old brother could've written, I hit myself over the head multiple times for buying a ticket to this film. Eddie Murphy has done some wretched movies, but this one takes the cake. Norbit is a no-go."
Inception (2010) - Rated 28 Aug 2010
"Mind games are the only words that come to mind when I think of this movie. Dream upon, dream upon, dream upon, dream upon, dream? Yes, I think so. These crafty mind readers go through the dreams of a successful energy company manager and break into his dreams. There goal is to plant a single idea into Fisher's dreams. They face many obstacles along the way though. Regardless, there were no obstacles in rating this movie...easily one of the best this year."
The Lion King (1994) - Rated 28 Aug 2010
"Lion Pride is one of kind. This movie has all the aspects of a greatness and it even goes beyond that. As a child, I would always look forward to watching this film and as an adult, I still have the same reaction. All of the characters are audience friendly and lovable. The plot also has great depth attracting a sense of attachment to the film."
The Incredibles (2004) - Rated 28 Aug 2010
"What's better than a movie about a family full of superheros? The incredibles is an excellent movie for the whole family, even the little ones. The humor is clever and the action is non-stop. With a combination of all different kinds of movies, The Incredibles sets itself up as one of the best animation movies of all time. Ironically, its a movie for all ages willing to have a fun time at the theatre. Incredible is an understatement."
A Beautiful Mind (2001) - Rated 28 Aug 2010
"A Beautiful mind captures the true individualism in ones irrational way in solving math problems. Born a genious, John Nash has always had a knack for numbers. Although I think his psychological is overplayed a little, Russle Crowe plays a very convincing skitsefrenic. I thought the plot was very well thought out along with the scenery of the film. The title, "A Beautiful mind" does not do this movie justice."
