"I mean war drama, slavery (not legal but they found another form to make it at south sadly), family issues, liaison, women and men difference, Man vs Machine, Cultist Vs Purist etc, etc... There are so many strong materials there to build on to and yet the movie is super unfocused, doing washed up and quick stuff with each character but ain't able to pick any focus on any of'em and we cant discover or explore. Strong cast and some strong scenes here and there but other than that, not great."

"Good first act, kinda ok, building suspense for the 2nd act but with lots of missed opportunities for characters. And last, the final act, the last 40 minutes of the movie is a shit show. It tries to address the cliches of the genre, act too hard and "self-aware" but in the end becomes another cliche silly movie. Modern Western-style "Old Soldier/Fighter Saving the town and saving the girl" trope is not a new thing but why do you keep addressing what kinda of movie you're?"
