KingOzzy

Legendary horror movie. Tobe Hooper used the budget limitations to create a film that feels more like you're watching a fucked up dark web video than a standard horror flick. This is a landmark horror title and it introduced the world to one of the most iconic horror icons of all time. Must watch. - Full Review

High Tension (2003) - Rated 19 Jul 2026

High Tension (Switchblade Romance where I'm from) is a coulda, woulda, shoulda type of movie. It could have, would have and should have been great, but Aja tried to be clever and half arsed a twist that butchers the entire narrative. It's a shame because other than that it excels in bleak, nasty atmosphere, relentless pacing and tension and savage gore. - Full Review

Marcel the Shell with Shoes On (2022) - Rated 26 Apr 2026

A stop-motion mockumentary about a talking shell makes for a very watch. Not for me. That being said it is a very well made and charming movie. Must have taken some serious patience and dedication to make. - Full Review

I Saw the Devil (2010) - Rated 26 Apr 2026

I Saw The Devil is absolute class. One of the best serial killer/revenge movies out there. Extremely well made movie, downright brutal from start to finish and a fresh take on the genre. Choi Min-sik is phenomenal once again. - Full Review

The Seasoning House (2012) - Rated 26 Apr 2026

This movie is fucked up. Extremely. If you're easily disturbed, this isn't the movie for you. But if you're not easily disturbed and extreme cinema is your thing The Seasoning House is solid. Nothing deep or clever, just a very dark and brutal revenge flick that that achieves what it set out to do. - Full Review

Luther: The Fallen Sun (2023) - Rated 26 Apr 2026

Luther: The Fallen Sun is good, but it could have been great. It brings a great new plot and premise and still contains much of what made the series iconic, but is unfortunately dragged down by too many elements to reach the same heights. - Full Review

Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man (2026) - Rated 26 Apr 2026

The Immortal Man isn't a bad film, but something clearly went wrong during production. The quality is far below what is to be expected in comparison to the series in terms of story, writing and overall payoff and experience. Underwhelming is the perfect way to describe it and it leaves the ending of the franchise feeling empty. Not a fitting end for Tommy Shelby and I refuse to believe this was the original plan. - Full Review
