"If you were desperate to see more of the unexplained background characters in the first film then here they are. Also time travel and a strange direct to camera wink that dissolves a brief moment of near tension. I'm surprised I watched this."

"This, and the rest of the series, probably would have been better as a TV series. There's no reason to care about any characters in here, you could cut two of three of the children and lose absolutely nothing in the atmosphere of story such that it exists. There's a fleeting moment that hints at an interesting story and seeing it dropped with a shrug was heartbreaking"
