the central mystery/plot in this one is a little incoherent, especially as it relates to the rest of the series. luckily david duchovny and gillian anderson can't not have explosive chemistry that could make any shitty tv incredible.

beautiful, delightfully strange movie. part of the delight and strangeness is that every performance is not very good. they don't even do very much ballet. the ballet is just set dressing. the protagonist is on pointe for maybe fifteen seconds.
