I like this more then The Apple Dumpling Gang. Don Knotts is in the movie a lot more and I enjoy his form of comedy. Family friendly and good for a laugh.

It shows how horrible people who are different were treated. A coherent story with development and growth. Based on a true story so I am not what was dramatized for Hollywood and what is real. Not for younger kids but an older teen may enjoy it.

Heart wrenching and makes you think about forgiveness in a different way. Could be triggering for people in part and some scenes are hard for with abuse or abuse implications.
