73 84% Profound Desires of the Gods (1968) - May 10, 2010
"A rare breed of film, where the technical prowess ensures the idiosyncratic content is smooth and accessible. Like your psychonaut work buddy who's still able to work harder than everyone else. A true creation."
90 99% Ratcatcher (1999) - Apr 07, 2008
"Somedays, this is the best and only film."
71 71% North by Northwest (1959) - May 22, 2017
"hes like a fish out of water thats actually like a duck to water. like, he is a duck but he thought he was a fish for a long time. no he is a platypus. sartorial duck fucking platypus"
73 84% Oranges Are Not the Only Fruit (1990) - Oct 17, 2009
"Scathingly witty writing. If I wasn't laughing, I was grinning an untamable grin throughout the first part. It gets darker, but only more humble and sincere. Oranges is a lesson in great writing; and more novelists should adapt their own work themselves. A film with so much character. More people need to see it."
73 84% Uncle Boonmee Who Can Recall His Past Lives (2010) - Jan 24, 2013
"Yay rhythmic! Or like sympathetic strings, I keep expecting Joe to hit this perfect all-reverberating note and the world just goes "pop" and disappears. Gets pretty close with the light just sort of sleeping and luxuriating on all the trees and pink tan skins 'till dusk with chirps and curious mesmeric sound design that makes small things seem all consuming, all containing."
85 99% Solaris (1972) - Dec 12, 2008
"3:10am or somewhere in silence caught in trance. and the cyclical wurr of a washing machine broke the dream. Arose, and walked closer to the thing--a thick sound rumbling through my legs. Thought the film had started it, and was cleaning a tuxedo; or a shirt."
73 84% Lifeboat (1944) - Jan 17, 2011
"Glistening silver sea-sprayed faces, off-kilter cuts and tin whistle German lullabies."
76 95% Lapis (1966) - Aug 23, 2010
"http://inoyan.narod.ru/kaleidoskop.swf"
72 78% Rain (1929) - Mar 22, 2013
"i am told dutch rain contains marijuana and vaginas. EIND."
72 78% Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure (1989) - Apr 07, 2008
"I want to breastfeed these boys."
