Clue (1985) - Rated 12 Sep 2026
Two best genres in one, and they do a great job blending them. Super fun movie.

Disclosure Day (2026) - Rated 24 Jun 2026
This was quite good. It would be worse if it was't SUPPOSED to completely baffle everyone, but the fact that it is makes sense. There were parts that were silly, but they were rather brief. Overall, I loved it. The acting was great, the music was great, and everything "fit." I am impressed that Spielberg has finally managed to make something this good (but to be fair, I have never seen Indiana Jones or his other alien movies, just not a huge fan of Jaws or Jurassic Park/World stuff). - Full Review

It's a very good movie but has some parts that can get somewhat briefly boring.

It didn't make much sense that Dante became a Spirit-Dog but could go back to the living world, and that it was so sudden and random. But it is a good movie anyway. Absolutely adorable, warmhearted, bittersweet.

The Sixth Sense (1999) - Rated 12 Apr 2026
The best horror film of all time. I couldn't choose between 99 and 100 so I chose 99 just because it was difficult to find anywhere on streaming services we had and ended up having to buy it.

How to Train Your Dragon (2025) - Rated 06 Apr 2026
They took out all of the best lines and the actors/actresses who played the younger characters did not fit the roles at all, especially for Astrid. Also, this is supposed to take place on a Scandinavian-ish island, and yet no one looks Scandinavian in the slightest. "Inclusivity" means picking those best for the role, not looking for the biggest variety of people based on their ethnicity despite how much it fits. That's the opposite of inclusivity.

How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World (2019) - Rated 06 Apr 2026
Extremely upsetting. The first two movies were the greatest 'cartoons' ever made. This is simply rubbish. No one has character, there isn't any humor, and every part of the story is unnecessary and doesn't align at all with the stories of the other two movies. This should have been about Hiccup's struggles as the new chief to keep things in order and the path he takes to learn. The villain reminded me of the white-haired British villain in Free Guy. And the ending was the worst.

How to Train Your Dragon 2 (2014) - Rated 06 Apr 2026
Amazing of course, but lost its heartwarming and more vikingly vibe present in the first movie. Characters changed a bit but I suppose that makes sense for the differences in age from the first movie to the second.
