"Bombastic sound design, which sets a standard that the rest of the movie doesn't live up to. Just as lacking in world and character building as the first part, which was at least somewhat “exciting” compared to this one. A lot of talk about nothing that really interests you, because the viewer was never made to care about it. The ending was ridiculous..."

"You can think what you want about the weak story, the permanent one-liners are worse and turn what was once a scifi action movie into an action comedy. Furthermore, despite the action lasting the entire length of the movie with practically no break, it simply doesn't achieve any meaning and seems irrelevant and without impact."

"Visually it looks great, the whole aesthetic was captured very well and the sound was very good. Story/writing was quite a disaster. There is 0“horror”, the aliens seem 0 threatening except for one scene. The characters were all flat and uninteresting and except for the performance of the Andy actor, none of them could convince. The female-lead looks like Rey from Star Wars only that she got a pulse rifle instead of a lightsaber.... the young adult approach was also unsuitable for the franchise"
