Alien (1979) - Rated 29 Nov 2014
The first and best Alien film. Absolutely stunning and terrifying. The films it has inspired have never come close to topping it.

Gone Girl (2014) - Rated 29 Nov 2014
Excellent, Lynchian tale of what goes on behind closed doors.

The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou (2004) - Rated 29 Nov 2014
Not funny, one of Wes' 'trying to be wacky' films. Bored me to death, even Bill Murday could't save it.

The Wedding Date (2005) - Rated 29 Nov 2014
The worst film I have ever been dragged to. But I suppose someone managed to get the colour balance right. And they did convince 'actors' to be in it. And got money to make it. Well done them.

Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines (2003) - Rated 29 Nov 2014
Not without merit but pretty bland and stupid, pretty much defines the modern action film.

Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991) - Rated 29 Nov 2014
A pretty silly story doesnt stop this from being one of the best action films ever made. Just pretend this is the last Terminator film ever.

The Terminator (1984) - Rated 29 Nov 2014
Why don't they make films like this anymore? A tense lean thriller with just the right amount of sci fi nonsense to keep you talking about it long after the credits roll

Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy (2004) - Rated 29 Nov 2014
The only good thing I can really say about this film is that it works as a barometer for whether or not someone has a good sense of humour. If you think this is funny, we shouldn't hang out.

Donnie Darko (2001) - Rated 29 Nov 2014
The first cult film of the 21st century and one of the best ever. Damn shame Richard Kelly has never gotten this close to perfection since. Ignore his Directors cut, excessive explanation goes totally against the joy of this film.
