Bio: Brandon Vick is a student of film for nearly 20 years, SoBro Brandon graduated from MTSU with a degree in Electronic Media Production. Having minored in Film Studies, his appreciation for the art of film extends to the origin of the craft. If Mr. Vick had put all the money he's spent on movie tickets into a 401k, he'd likely be on a beach sipping margaritas instead of runnin' round with this bunch. You name a movie: he can give you a review of it. Known for his outlandish sense of humor, Brandon is the type of guy you have to warn your friends about before they meet him.

81% Kung Fu Panda 3 (2016) - Rated 02 Feb 2016
"Though weakest of the three as far as story goes, the components that give us such fondness about these panda adventures are still in place---stellar animation, dauntless heart & playful humor."
40% Jane Got a Gun (2016) - Rated 02 Feb 2016
"Portman & Edgerton offer the only impactful presence to this otherwise typical, stodgy Western where most of the action is discussed instead of manifested."
68% The Finest Hours (2016) - Rated 02 Feb 2016
"The inspiration is there, but never fully consumed in this retro yet shamefully predictable movie. The sea is where the avidness lies, allowing the true story to keep it's head above water."
54% 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi (2016) - Rated 02 Feb 2016
"Michael Bay is incapable of bringing thought, complexity & substance to an event that's undeniably deserving of it. Yet it's a frontline action movie with the sound & fury of punishable, non-stop war."
9% The 5th Wave (2016) - Rated 02 Feb 2016
"Lame sci-fi movie including a routine invasion plot w/ unimpressive effects & laughable characters."
54% Anomalisa (2015) - Rated 02 Feb 2016
"Kaufman's artistic craft & exceptional animation is respectfully gratifying. A shame the story of monotony, loneliness &the stripping of individuality can't be more galvanizing, containing intricate &immersed characters."
22% The Boy (2016) - Rated 02 Feb 2016
"A mildly effective creepy horror flick at the start, but once all is revealed, the trumpery overpowers with timeworn setting in."
10 95% The Revenant (2015) - Rated 02 Feb 2016
"Incredibly gorgeous film-making about a vengeful tale out on the beastly, unforgiving American Frontier; Hardy is ruthless & DiCaprio's commitment is miraculous, delivering a mortally uncompromising, nearly wordless performance. An extraordinary cinematic experience that's unhampered & punishable yet worth every drop of blood."
9% The Forest (2016) - Rated 02 Feb 2016
"The first horror film of the year never seems to go quite well. Promising & ambiguous, it doesn't take long to realize the potential along with any sense of fright is lost in the woods."
81% The Hateful Eight (2015) - Rated 02 Feb 2016
"Tarantino finds amusement in the outrageous, but never lets it take over the narrative. Possessing the ability to fasten our attention without succumbing to explosions and other inessential distractions is one of his true gifts. The Hateful Eight is a fine example of that. For 3 hours, you will listen to every rapturous word of his portentous poetry. You know I did."
