Prisoners (2013) - Rated 12 Oct 2022
This film was quite unnerving. The thought of this happening in real life stuck with me throughout and after the film. This was a fantastic performance from Hugh Jackman, he really immersed himself into the character, it didn't feel forced or like he was acting. The same can't be said for Gyllenhaal's performance.

Brahms: The Boy II (2020) - Rated 12 Oct 2022
I don't understand why this film took the supernatural route. It feels like just another horror film. The twist in the first movie was unconventional and unexpected and geared up to a sequel. I would have loved to have seen how that story develops, as I feel it was unique.

I actually enjoyed this movie but can understand why the theater was mostly empty.

Dune (2021) - Rated 12 Oct 2022
If not for the lead actors, I would have not bothered to head to the cinema to watch this film. I felt like this movie was just to provide a backstory to the sequel and serves no purpose on its own.
