Rioteously funny! Rudds fish out of water playing off Segals potential Bromance makes for very entertaining film! Must see!

The Deer Hunter (1978) - Rated 16 Feb 2007
While this is really Walken and Deniros movie the rest of the cast shine thru under Ciminos direction about the loss of innocence due too the atrocity of war. Although I know the word feels tossed around too much ,this movie is haunting.

Ok... gory, cheesy ,and not the least bit apologetic. I'd hafta say I went into watching this film with very low expectations and I was pleasantly surprized. But then again you are reading a review from a zombiephile.Worth seeing with tongue-in-cheek and a big tub of buttered popcorn in the lap!

The Invention of Lying
The Invention of Lying (2009) - Rated 05 Sep 2011
Though a little heavy handed in its indictment of all religion its sweetness of a man discovering that lying has both dire and endearing qualities is refreshing..only Gervais could have pulled this movie off.

Requiem for a Dream
Requiem for a Dream (2000) - Rated 16 Mar 2010
Wow ..this is one dark movie! Bleak, unflinching, yet riveting plunge into the underbelly of drug addiction unerringly won me over! But is not for the weak at heart, nor the weak of stomache for that matter.

(500) Days of Summer
(500) Days of Summer (2009) - Rated 24 Mar 2010
As you enter into these charecters world you are told by the voiceover ( Richard McGonagle) this is not a love story.. however I believe it is just that! However lopsided it is. Levitt's and Deschanel's performances are remarkable, the script is touching and mesmerizing and the pacing is very capable.Highly recommended!
