87 75% The Wolf of Wall Street (2013) - Rated 04 Feb 2014
"A quality, quality film. I'm leaving it at that."
85 60% Short Term 12 (2013) - Rated 04 Feb 2014
"Very very good. One of my favourites of 2013."
75 25% The Selfish Giant (2013) - Rated 04 Feb 2014
"A solid, solid film. If you like these gritty, English films it's up there with the best. The two young leads are fantastic and the horrible situation they find themselves in is just heartbreaking to watch."
88 85% The Spectacular Now (2013) - Rated 04 Feb 2014
"Without a doubt one of my favourite teen growing up films ever. Shailene Woodley was great, the script and acting never falted and the plot was solid. I just wish Sutter wasn't such a nob."
40 5% Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit (2014) - Rated 04 Feb 2014
"Can't say I liked it. Kept me entertained for the runtime but there was no substance and extremely predictable. It's a decent plot but I felt the only standout actor was Keira Knightley and the rest were rather underwhelming."
80 40% Children of Men (2006) - Rated 04 Feb 2014
"I'm now very depressed. But one of the best sci-fi films to come out in recent times, a must watch for fans of the genre."
90 95% Dallas Buyers Club (2013) - Rated 04 Feb 2014
"This film was very very good. Leto played an amazing support role, and for once I actually liked McConaughey. Acting and script were great, and quite frankly its one of my favourite films of 2013"
55 15% The Art of Getting By (2011) - Rated 04 Feb 2014
"It was decent. A standard, run of the mill film about growing up, with the usual girl-who-doesn't-seem-to-care-but-does bullshit."
85 60% 50/50 (2011) - Rated 04 Feb 2014
"A serious Seth Rogan film? IMPOSSIBLE! Although Seth still played pretty much himself, this was a great movie which I really enjoyed. The acting and story were good, and it was a real mixture of happy and sad messages. Overall, a solid film. would watch again"
80 40% Little Miss Sunshine (2006) - Rated 04 Feb 2014
"A very good film, a mixture of sadness and comedy throughout. Dwayne's character was very well played. Only criticism is that it seemed like it didn't focus enough on some parts, such as Steve Carell's characters obsession with the scholar. Other than that, very funny film, 8!"
