"Very disappointing. As the ice age movies progress they just get worse and worse till you're left with the fifth instalment of what appears to be an enormous train wreck. I feel like the writers have completely lost the plot, and instead have just scrambled together the actors in a room with a mess of papers and animators and hoped for something to happen. But it's not an old person saying that, even my niece and nephew(age 8 & 6) were leaving the cinema confused. DO NOT RECOMMEND"

"The only thing I find good about this movie is the cast... Everything else is such a train wreck in my opinion. I feel quite disappointed for dreamworks to let themselves down to this degree. But hey this is only my opinion.."

"I saw this movie when I was a kid and was so confused.. I had no idea where the plot was going and I was almost bored. I re-watched it recently with my younger relatives and un suprisingly. Didn't like it at all. The cast was good. But the writers felt slack.it was to predictable and mainly just boring with not much development to the plot.
I wouldn't recommend this movie :("

"This movie started out rather well. With a Commicle start to our hero, and his family as well as the animation was nice to look at. But I feel in was to predictable and was supringly dark. It had some scenes in which I found rather challenging, and I then realise this was aimed at kids. I personally think this movie was a bit of a bust"

"The first hour of this film worked beautifully with the fantastic music, and scenery. The story fell apart After mimi died. But it remained a gorgeous art piece. The story had a good beginning but didn't make much sense after the point of mr morasaki splitting up with asuna. Mr morasaki also became hard to like when he became so desperate to get Lisa back that he would sacrifice Asuna. But it wasn't to bad there were still little perks throughout the entire movie."

"So this is a very beautifully portrayed movie. With fantastic Australian cast. But it is hard for everyone to enjoy. Not enough was explained. And was quite long and dreary in some parts. However, The music and cinematography is sensational throughout. There are some redeeming features. But I have seen better"

"Everyone says this movie was to sad. And I agree with that's much, it was sad but the metaphor it represents was just brilliant. The whole concept of needing sadness to have joy was very beautifully done. And the idea of a control panel that started out as one single button and by the ending was a whole control panel for every emotion. Also the metaphor of forgetting the very best of our childhood (e.g bing bong) in perspective this movie had some great points. To make up a great film."

"This movie had a really good theme and started out very clever. But soon became hard to watch and a bit frustrating. The gangsters were really easy to hate, and it all turned way to over the top and terrible. I enjoyed and entertained the idea of these police robots but it all just ended up being to easy for someone to do something like give robots the ability to have a soul."

"John green books are relatively good. And this movie isn't much different. The graphics and scenery was pretty good and the actors did a great job. But it's a slow movie and pretty predictable movie that makes it hard to enjoy otherwise. And the character Margo was hard to like, she could have been a lot more lush. But instead I have resentment towards her character"
