The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare

Didn't expect Gonzalez and Schweiger to turn out ot be the secret stars of this movie. Schweiger gives a career best performance I think. He might even have taken some inspiration from Gavrilis' performance in the Indiana Jones game.

Both of their characters seemed the most fleshed out. I was surprised how...non-charactery most of those were the movie leads you to believe are its protagonists. They're more like paper cut outs who stroll around shooting people. Cavill obviously had some presence and was really funny, but the only one who really resembled his description and setup was Ritchson.
The rest of the crew were pretty much the blandest characters of the bunch.

And they don't really get much screentime in the first half. That one seems more to belong to Gonzalez, Schweiger and Olusanmokun. Who I not only found bland as well, but also annoying. With his uncharismatic demeanor and unexpressive old man voice.

But otherwise a very well made movie. Great acting, very entertaining, very gripping and engaging. What a cool suspense setpiece there at the end. And the music was really fun and a bold choice I thought.
