Arctic

Survival movie at its finest. Hope and despair are the two sides of the same coin. This movie doesn’t only capture the survival in the arctic. It portrays the basic human condition and behaviour. The battles of morality, optimism, and the greatest fear of all, dying alone. What are we willing to sacrifice to remain the same person. Great performance from one of my favourite actors Mads Mikkelsen. The love I have for this niche—surviving in snow!—could cause bias but if you like the same kind of movies you’ll have a good time watching this.
