Cape Fear
Biblical. One of Deniro’s best performances I’ve ever seen. What a character. Story revolves around fear. I am god and he is me. This movie questions morality. The lawyer stoops down to the lowest levels and rips himself out of his values. One thing that didn’t work out was the daughter’s character. The performance was weak. Why would she have any kind of affinity towards the stalker. Even towards the end she still is intrigued. Maybe it’s some psychological aspect that the Scorsese tries to explore. Good movie.
