Resident Evil

Is this supposed to be a horror movie or one of these contemporary comedies where watch a useless loser go about their day being a complete dumbass, and the humour comes from second hand embarrassment and pity. I think Nicolas Braun is the face of this kind of filmmaking. But here we have Austin Abrams, the junkie guy from cregher's "weapons". That but plus gore and squiggle monsters. Humour is being derived from the repetitive actions that players would have to do constantly: door is locked, shoot lock . Door remains locked despite being shot at. That's the reason why in the game you have to look for the key 🗝️. Here it's being telegraphed that this guy is not the smartest because he is going in guns blazing. Main character is a useless goof that can't do anything right but somehow knows what to do when the plot requires him to know or somehow lucks into a situation where he survives. It is a slideshow of nonsensical situations with unsatisfying endings for those situations.
