Panahi's return to traditional narrative after a streak of intensely self-reflexive pictures propels such an afflicting, yet surprisingly humorous -- could use a jar nickname for myself! --, on the muddled feelings tormenting characters -- workers imprisoned for months after demanding basic rights like getting paid -- with a chance of revenge against a man who tortured them.
