Lanterns
An interesting take on the Lanterns mythos that builds a solid foundation for things to come.
The performances by Aaron Pierre and Kyle Chandler were fantastic. Kyle in particular really was Hal Jordan, and easily one of the greatest portrayals of the character to date. Aaron's John Stewart was also fantastic. Both character portrayals were quite faithful to the comics, while the creative liberties taken with the mythos and the surrounding world were not bad choices. it is not a perfect show, I found some of the antagonists somewhat flat. But there really is lots of good here.
Overall, to avoid spoilers, I will summarize by saying that this is one of the best superhero shows in recent memory, and really sets up the lanterns for a bright future in the DCU.
