Flushed Away

Well, this one was quite obnoxious. The animation absolutely shows its age. There was only a very tiny fingerful of jokes that got at least a chuckle out of me. I had virtually no interest in any of these characters except for Le Frog, maybe. Roddy's loneliness conflict just wasn't believable. Sid's only purpose was to start the movie and nothing else. In fact, most of the plot progressed in very questionable ways that just seemed forced or last-minutey. None of the conflicts really had any tension behind them despite them trying. The singing maggots were the equivalent of the annoying theater kids and they even got the screaming part down to a tee... boy, did they get that down.
Overall, this was definitely one of Aardman's weaker entries.
