Monsters vs. Aliens

There were a good amount of questions I had regarding the inconsistencies of the physics. Missing Link? More like Missing Purpose. He barely did anything to warrant his inclusion in this movie. Why was Susan going to marry Derek? No matter how long she's been with him, marrying him knowing how self-centered he is should have raised a red flag for her a long time ago. Plus, why was Derek going to marry Susan? What was even in it for him to have dated her for... however long that was? Dr. Cockroach was alright; he was caring and actually did necessary things to influence events. B.O.B. did things too, but to a far lesser degree. The humor wasn't terrible, but there was only a half-n-half of light chuckles and nothing-at-alls. There were plenty of things that seemed like they were only in the movie because some corporate figure needed them to be in there. The action was boring and only raised more questions that went unanswered like how Susan learned so quickly how to ride cars like rollerskates or how vehicles are able to effortlessly drive up deep inclines without much issue. Overall, this really seemed like such a throwaway movie that you'd just have on in the background with no one watching. But it absolutely could've been so much worse.
