Touching stories of courage, quite drawn out. I understand the desire to focus on the victims/survivors, but have reservations about the decision to begrudgingly discuss Paddock while pointedly refusing to invoke his name, as if he were some kind of demon. This is part of a wider effort to deny attention to killers, but it seems like an averting of the eyes. The real issue is a schizo-stimulating media ecosystem, not the natural (survival-oriented?) interest in predators that is exploited by it.
