Probably thrilling and provocative when there were 4 channels on TV, today you're gonna feel all those 70 minutes waiting for Stacy Keach to just punch a kid really fucking hard.

One of those TV movies that had a script good enough for an hour long detective show but somehow got padded out to movie length for a special engagement on a Wednesday night. Stacy is great as he pieces together the situation he's found himself in but once he knows the steps to free himself are too drawn out and not satisfying enough. I never fully got a read on Samantha Egger, who seems too comfortable with the children, and that's remembering her licking the rage babies clean in The Brood.

Kept waiting for something to happen. Was pretty boring even though at the beginning the tension was there, but the longer the movie went, the more the tension that was created slipped away and made me lose interest in the movie. Kind of hard to get into, and the killer children genre is usually pretty spot on with the movies that are made of that. Always been a fan of stacy Keach's though.

Gosh, that really wasn't very plausible at all, was it? I suppose the whole thing could actually be looked upon as a satire--sort of a send-up of The Waltons. Intriguingly, we are treated early on to a few moments of Robby Benson being menacing; on the down side, we have to hear him sing. Anyway, all things considered, it was pretty fun (even if it was really only about a half-hour's worth of entertainment).
