Amanda and the Alien

I'm sure I shouldn't like this as much as I do. Sex, people-consuming alien, actors who actually can act, ridiculous script. Feels like a humorous softcore with fairly good production values. I've seen it several times and will see it again. It's entertaining, even moving. Nicole Eggert, Stacy Keach, Michael Dorn without the Star Trek look, and a host of talented supporting actors.

Fun, quirky, lots of hotness, and campy violence: this makes for a fun viewing if you are a little sick and twisted like me.

Hot garbage fire. Even though it was explained in the movie that just as humans eat other living beings, so do the "aliens" and simply out of necessity. I was still DISTURBED how nonchalant our female lead was about the killing spree she and her alien bae got into. She even let the alien kill her on/off boyfriend, lezzing with the alien in its female form first and promptly continuing the copulation after "consuming" the ex bf. The moral compass on that woman...

Love this movie. Campy, sexy, and funny. My only complaint is it's so darn hard to find.
