The problem with mass adaptation of Philip K. Dick stories is that during the time that he had been writing, what passed for unique science fiction seems rather pedestrian to the kind of stuff that's come out since. Because of that, some of the stories will be completely predictable, and seem rather derivative, even when the source material was innovative. This one was worth a watch for sci-fi fans, but you won't find anything special.

Taking PKD's name, writing a completely different story, and also infuse it with a huge dose of modern political activism.

Rural humans barely surviving against a faceless organisation; Autofac reads like generic modern YA fodder. What makes this episode interesting is Temple and Monáe's performances and the way in which they play of each other. The twist at the end may feel a little contrived, but it ties the episode together neatly. Enjoyable, even if not groundbreaking.
