Top badass moment? Virus? Yawn. Sheridan sends the most powerful ship at his disposal off on a wild goose chase, because he hasn’t got any better ideas; thus demonstrating his metamorphosis from war hero to politician is complete. This is okay as a pilot, but as a stand-alone film it’s a bit, meh. But the soundtrack! It felt more out of place than a T Rex in a vegan restaurant, the worst change since the SciFi Channel rebranded itself as a sexual disease. No cats, chainsaws or decapitations.

This is the best of the movies from the series. It has good action and a pretty interesting story. The main characters do good work here as they really know their characters, and the addition of the always solid Todd was a good fit.

A decent workup meant to hand off the series to the Crusade folks. Too bad that didn't work out.

As a standalone film, it's not that hot. It relies too heavily on the viewer having knowledge of the B5 universe. Taken in context it works quite nicely as a lead-in to Crusade, one of those sci-fi TV shows that got axed before their time. The biggest downside is the horrible horrible soundtrack.

A decent pilot for a nearly decent spinoff series.

Almost a pilot, more of a B5 movie that just happens to provide some backstory to Crusade. Only a couple of the characters from Crusade even appear in this, so it's a movie mostly about the characters you already know. It's a good watch, if you're a B5 fan.
