Barbie: Mermaid Power

One more for the kids before bed, and the youngest insisted on this one, but not even this was a success. Quickly became background fodder, and I got to "enjoy" this Barbie/Mermaid hybrid almost by my self.

The script and story here are not amazing, but they're more a device to push the climate-friendly and anti-ableist themes the team was going for more than anything. And since this is ultimately a kids movie, which will hopefully get those messages across to kids who need to hear them, I'm okay with the plot not being incredible stuff. It did get more entertaining as it went on. Not bad, but not my favorite Barbie epic either.
