Bert doesn't write particularly great jokes, but god damn can he tell a great story. Also, despite having the body of a fat slug, Bert has done both a marathon and a triathalon. a) how? b) inspiring?

I'm ok with Bert as a comedic foil on podcasts, but he is the definition of a hack stand up. I'm amazed that so many people love his storytelling when it took like, two of his stories before I realized he's making 90% of this shit up and that overwhelms any potential entertainment. That and the laughing that sounds like he just got shot in the balls by a bean bag gun.
