proper shit. lazy script, terrible acting, trying way too hard for twists, etc. classic netflix production. of course they didn't forget to have people from every single race possible, as well as homosexuality. grow up netflix.

This would be 90+ for me, if not for a few lazy plot holes (like how did scratches that the detective had to turn on flash and dig up catch her eye when she was walking by, deep in thought?), and a few instances of unabashed political grandstanding (like dialogue on racism in modern London and homosexuality in Victorian London) that was already told through the characters and stories. Newsflash writers: the audience isn't as stupid as you think we are.

One of those 'Inspector Morse' style shows (loved by a US audience because of its charming English scenery) indulging in Dickensian and Second World War London nostalgia. If you'd not seen Predestination (2014) you might think it an interesting and novel sci-fi conceit. Unfortunately I had, and so didn't.

It is feels like a distorted version of a show. It checks most boxes of a great show, but it's worse than a well executed superficial one.

Fascinating and original story. Well done. Confusing at times, esp in the beginning. But a fun watch.

One of those shows that entertain you until you figure out the plot twist, then you're stuck waiting for it to resolve even though you can already guess pretty much everything that's going to happen. Goes from slow to plodding at that point. Still a decent watch, had a good time.

More children tv. It takes itself ridiculously serious and the story fails to entertain. Shining Girls did something similar way better, with more focus and better acting and more curiosity. Bodies looks unconvincing in every time period. Of course unsubtle, modern moral messaging about how we should treat marginalized groups is shoehorned in whereever they can. There is no subtext in Bodies, everyone says everything out loud. Graham, who is one of my favorite actors, is kind of silly
