Buck Rogers in the 25th Century

My ranking's based solely on the fact that I LOVED the tv show as a kid & it was a nostalgic surprise 4 me 2 find out that this pilot-turned-feature film was as much James Bond as Star Wars. The 007-inspired babes-on-display title sequence alone was worth the price of admission as even Erin Gray vamps it up. Anyone else had better expect 2 deal w/ 80's made4tv glibness, Wilma Deering's schizo-transformations in2 a groupie in heat & cornball "comic relief" in the form of R2D2 - uh, I mean Twiki

Vaguely remember this being rather schmaltzy and/or cheesy, but also some of it being pretty decent entertainment. Definitely needs a re-watch.

This is fucking ridiculous

Modestly enjoyable in the Battlestar Galactica vein, at least this has the good sense not to take itself too seriously, with Mel Blanc as the voice of Twiki the robot.

The pilot of the Glen A Larson TV show got a theatrical release, particularly here in Oztraylia. Campy and fun, but for all the wrong reasons. I'd LOVE to see it again after all this time
