Engaging and interesting. It was diminished greatly by the departures of Sophia Bush after season 4 and Elias Koteas after season 5. The stories are good, and there were few loose ends. Occasionally the lucky leads seemed a bit far fetched, but most of the plots seemed to reflect good police work. I liked how Hank and Alvin were always on the edge of losing everything with their occasional over the top corrupt tactics. The good sense of justice was paramount in each episode. Worth watching.

Stopped watching after season 3.

A solid police procedural that gives us a few gutsy and off the books type characters to allow boundaries to be pushed. It works very well with the occasional faulter that still results in a mediocre episode. The cast does great with the material they are give and thats all we can really ask for as an audience.

One of the most drab and generic cop procedurals I've seen. A great big oozing pile of unremarkable.
