Manages to show something not just about the corruption that exacerbated the consequences of the earthquake, but something too about how power and politics plays out in the Chinese context.

It seems the other reviewers on the site didn't care for this much, but I thought it was a fascinating assessment on how the personal becomes indistinguishable from the political, and the mob mentality that will (sometimes rightfully) arise following a tragedy. Heartbreaking stuff.

The matter is important enough but the authors made very little effort to put the footage together properly and the interviews are just crying.
