Rich people being assholes in toney locations. Each season is worse than the previous one...season 3 is especially dire.

It is slightly reactionary, slightly homophobic, slightly transphobic, the woke character turns out to be naive and also trumps his values for his own benefit, etc. If we didn't have that, it would have been great fun.

Even a more slower burn than the first if possible, I don’t know if it’s possible to say which season is better. Characters and their development/stories and the atmosphere is just amazing in this season.

So our Achilles heel is our own member?

SEASON 2 - More involving than Season 1, this is never dull and features an array of terrific performances, esp Coolidge who really comes into her own – but it’s difficult to see what point White is trying to make (or is he merely making a Sirkian soap opera with all of his social commentary clunkily front loaded?) which gives the series something of a chilly distance. Some beautiful cinematography, and clever, nimble plotting, makes it enjoyable, but something about it never quite “clicks”.
