If you like to watch interrogations on other shows, this is probably the show for you. The whole show is an interrogation, and they do a great job making you question whether the suspect is guilty or not. Some good guest stars like David Tennant and Hayley Atwell. That being said, the show is fairly basic of course, so it may end up being boring for some people, despite the good acting.

I watched a couple and they both came down to the police noticing a piece of evidence they already had. So the interviews are redundant.

Excellent television. It's fairly "small scale" in a way--no chases or hostage situations--but it achieves power by staying focused on the interview process. This (like most things) would be for naught without good writing, which it has. "Alex" from Season 2 is particularly good.

The detectives here are a joke.

The criminal series resides on a great concept, but one that can easily fail as it all depends on the quality of the story and how the actors put it forward. The U.K. one is the strongest from the point of view of the relationships between the police characters and how it plays into the interrogations. The best episode is the one with Kunal Nayyar overall, although I really enjoyed Atwell's character (she is one o, my favorite actors). I hope that they continue making them

Over dramatic and over played, without a trace of humor or self awareness
