Dark Winds

It’s apparent that most normal people have been cleansed from artistic institutions and replaced by young, oikophobic activists that rule as authoritarians over the cultural mores using the threat of social banishment as prime weapon. A great example of what happens when this culture has a stranglehold on the rest is Dark Winds. The racism towards white characters is chilling. To harbor such hatred against ppl because of their skin color is downright disturbing. And somehow it’s applauded.

I have no idea what the review about ”chilling racism” against white people was even talking about.

I was thrilled by the first episode—the fascinating surroundings and the intriguing premise of a crime within a Native American community were captivating. But each episode felt progressively less engaging, until I finally got to the end of the last episode of the first season, where I fast forwarded just to finish it. Despite good acting, the film lacks tension. When someone got shut, I just noticed it without really care. Nicely done, but pointless.

Well filmed and has some great performances. The script holds it back a little, its convoluted, and repetitive, but not so much to make it a bad experience. I really like Zahn McClarnon.

Problematic in many ways. For a good review of why this should not have been made in the first place: https://directory.libsyn.com/episode/index/show/therednation/id/24776820

THAT WAS AAAAAAAAAAAAAAA, greatest night history of television. Jokes aside, Dark Winds is a really good show. I think we all know how talented Graham Roland is and he proves it once again in this series. There aren't enough words to describe Zahn McClarnon. He is a true wonder of nature. I'm a little angry with myself for watching the first episode on my phone because you should watch Dark Winds on big screen TV. Well-acted, well-paced, well-directed. Fantastic. My rating may up or down later..
