Dead to Me

Dead to Me (2019) — ★★★½ (7.5/10) This dark comedy-drama rests almost entirely on the chemistry between Christina Applegate and Linda Cardellini, and it delivers in full — Jen's acerbic, sharp-edged grief paired against Judy's guilt-ridden optimism creates a genuinely magnetic dynamic that carries the show through its weaker narrative stretches. The series also handles the blend of dark comedy and psychological drama with real skill, extracting humor from tragic, absurd situations wit

gooooooood

[through season 3]

The dark comedy here is really good. It's definitely heavier on drama than you might think from its marketing, and the drama does not always work. The narrative is fun and moves quickly, but it's also based on a neverending series of insanely huge coincidences.

Almost finished the 3rd season and it's still great! Funny, smart, surprising and emotional. Great acting! Moranes is huge.

Funny, witty, quite original. Easy binger

Something about this show didn't click for me and it has all the fixings to be a solid show it just didn't place the pieces correctly on the chess board and make the right moves from a story perspective to keep my intrigued. The acting is fine enough and bolsters some big names and some well known supporting actors who do the best they can. It's simply just not my cup of tea and with the wide array of characters and situations on TV nowadays that's bound to happen one time.
