Struggling manga author Satoru Fujinuma is beset by his fear to express himself. However, he has a supernatural ability of being able to prevent deaths and casualties by being sent back in time before an incident occurrs, repeating time until it is prevented. Though it teases some darkness, BDGIM is mostly a feel-good thriller that explores the protection of companionship vs the benefits of genuine friendship. The plot is tight enough even with time travel that it flows well. Easy to watch with any audience over a rainy weekend.

A very compelling thriller that had me binge watching through the night. The time travel premise is used in a manner that complements and builds the narrative to a very satisfying conclusion. Add to that some very heartwarming moments and wonderful composition that is refreshing for an Anime T.V. show.

The fact that I knew what it was happening almost from the very beginning it did not let me enjoy it more but nevertheless it is a solid TV show. The plot synopsis, at least here on CRT, it is a little tricky because it is not exactly what the show is about.

Absolutely magnificent. I like the details and littlest things in the show. It gets you relieved in one second but hooked in a fishnet the next. Beautiful beginning, middle, and ending. Bonus points because the guy didn't end up with the girl 'cause that's hella weird if they ended up together... lol.
