A good cast for a WB type show but still with the genre typical melodrama. One hell of a plot device pops up in this thing though.

A watchably decent but not quite standout teen drama series. A solid leading performance from Keri Russell and nice New York settings, and (especially in the first season) I liked its actual focus on studying, tests, academic difficulty, etc. But the endless, circular love triangle melodrama become fairly agonizing by the end. And the out-of-fucking-nowhere time travel plot at the end is one of the weirdest writing choices in the history of the medium of television.
