The story was interesting so I should read the book because this film was boring with terrible animation.

Being not a big gamer (knowing the game well enough), this review is based on the film itself. The animation is fairly well done and probably it's biggest strength. The main plot with The Master Chief was interesting, just seems like the side plots were unnecessary and didn't help at all.

Bad character animation. The rest is pretty good.
